Our Story.
A Place We Always Wanted To Return To…
Our story began after visiting Woolacombe in 2020 and completely falling in love with the area. We loved the beach, the walks, the village and having so much of North Devon to explore — and before long, we found ourselves with a place of our own.
From the beginning, we wanted No.9 Putsborough to be somewhere we’d genuinely choose to stay ourselves. Beautiful and stylish, yes, but also comfortable, practical and easy to settle into after a day on the beach or walking the coast path. And with Woolacombe Beach and the village just a few minutes from the door, we knew we’d found a pretty special spot.
One of our favourite parts of sharing No.9 Putsborough has been all the little things. Finding just the right mugs for that first cup of tea in the morning, adding board games we used to play with our own children (who are now adults!), or discovering another favourite café, beach or coastal walk that we think you’ll love too.
As independent owners, we’re still the people behind every booking. We answer your questions, think about what might make your stay better and genuinely care that you have a wonderful time while you’re here.
