Tucked away in the heart of the village, Meraki Coffee Co is a hidden gem for brunch in Woolacombe. Known for serving the smoothest coffee in North Devon, it’s a go-to for locals and visitors alike. The short but sweet menu includes colourful smoothies and freshly made breakfast treats daily from 9.00am. New Coast Kitchen
Best for: Late risers (brunch is served till 2.30pm)
Dish to order: Shakshuka washed down with an Italian Spritz
One of our most visited brunch spots in Woolacombe, mainly because I’m completely obsessed with their shakshuka. The prettiest place to eat near No.9 Putsborough, it’s stylish but never too posh for breakfast. As well as lighter bites like homemade granola or fluffy pancakes, there’s also miso aubergine hash and mushroom and truffle croque monsieur — ensuring plenty of plant-based, vegetarian and gluten-free brunch options in North Devon. We’d recommend booking ahead as this brunch spot in North Devon gets busy fast!

Lee Meadow Farm Shop Cafe
Best for: Fuelling up for your adventures
Dish to order: Waffle with bacon & maple syrup
One of the lesser-known breakfast spots just a few minutes from Woolacombe, Lee Meadow Farm Shop Cafe is one of those hidden North Devon brunch spots that locals love. Set among 27 acres of countryside, with woodland on one side and rolling hills on the other, it’s a lush summer escape. Expect hearty favourites — from bacon or sausage baguettes to freshly baked croissants and waffles — all perfect for a family-friendly breakfast near Woolacombe. Breakfast is served until 12pm from May half term through to the end of September, and if you’re feeling energetic, there’s even a zip wire on-site to burn off those waffles afterwards!
Beachcomber Cafe
Best for: One to watch
Dish to order: açai bowl and pineapple sunset smoothie
We’re counting down the days until Beachcomber Cafe reopens in February 2026! Set right above the sands, this much-loved North Devon café will once again be serving up on of the best breakfasts and brunch in Woolacombe that we adore. Whether you’re craving an açai bowl, a tropical smoothie or a hearty brunch after a morning surf, this spot promises unbeatable views and relaxed coastal vibes — the perfect way to start your day by the sea.
