Accessibility Guide
We welcome all our guests to No.9 Putsborough and the below offers information regarding accessibility. If you have any concerns about accessibility or restricted mobility, please contact us before booking so we can ensure the apartment is suitable for your stay.
- Arriving
- By car you can only access the car park via Sandy Lane.
- The height is 2.4m for the entrance to the carpark.
- We will ask you at the time of booking for the make and model of vehicle you intend to arrive in and notify you if we have any concerns regarding access.
- The underground car park is level and concreted and is well lit.
- There are no designated disabled parking bays available and the parking bay allocated cannot be swapped or changed at request.
- There is no internal step access from the Car Park to the property.
- There are external steps to the car park from Beach Road by the side of the swimming pool. There are internal steps from the car park down to the Leisure Suite Facilities.
- Access to the Apartment
- The apartment is self-check-in. We provide a easy-to-follow digital guide to locate the key safe room and to find the apartment.
- From the allocated parking bay in the underground car park it is a level walk (approx. 15m) to the door (operated by a fob key) where there is lift access to the apartment which makes arrival nice and straightforward. While we’ve never experienced any issues, lifts are mechanical so we cannot absolutely guarantee availability at all times.
- In the unlikely event that the lift is not operating, access would involve two flights of stairs from the underground car park up to the leisure deck, a short walk across the deck, and then four flights up to the top floor to reach the apartment. Please note, no compensation will be offered in the event of the failure of any lift during your stay.
- The apartment is on the second floor. On exiting the lift there are double doors leading to a wide lit corridor. At the end of the corridor is the private entrance to the apartment.
- Please note children must be supervised at all times when using the lift.
